York Coleman furnace safety cut off door switch P/N S1-02425811000 Obsolete - No Longer Available.

This switch will cut off the power to the furnace when the front cover is removed. This switch is an important part of your systems function that should not be tampered with. If your unit is operating with front cover removed and this safety switch is bypassed, the gases from furnace combustion can possibly be exhumed from the flue into the living space. This is highly toxic and may lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
