Carrier gas burners should always be replaced as a set. Common conditions we see are holes rusting in the burner or the nozzles being plugged with rust. Sometimes there are 2 different burners required for a particular Carrier gas furnace. One burner may have some type of adaption for a pilot or may be designated as an end or middle burner.
