This is a Carrier factory replacment circuit board, NOT an aftermarket copy. Using this board will maintain the factory UL rating for your heat pump as well as keep the system operating at peak efficiency. This is the only circuit board authorized by Carrier Corp to replace the part numbers listed below used in Carrier, Payne and Bryant equipment

We strongly suggest changing the defrost sensor when changing this control board. The defrost sensor works in conjunction with the timing process on this circuit board as well as sensing to terminate the defrost cycle at the proepr time. 

The most common defrost sensor used with this board is part number HH18HA280

If the outdoor unit ices up in the heating mode and stays iced up this circuit board is most likely the problem
