Carrier furnace filter door switch P/N HR54ZA006

This door switch shuts off power to the furnace when filter door that covers the furnace blower is removed. It is very important that this device not be tampered with. If the furnace is operating with the filter door removed and this door switch bypassed the exhaust gases from combustion can be pulled from the flue into the living area. This can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
