“While the pictured capacitor is a good one because it is a name brand, has a safe castor oil fill and is rated at 440 VAC, instead of just 370 VAC - there is another ingredient in its value.

Neither the schematic diagram, or anyone I contacted, could tell me the correct value of the compressor run capacitor. (I did know an incorrect value was substituted some time ago). At 10:42 PM one recent night, after E-mailing the question to "Shortys," I received an almost immediate reply from Mike Short providing me with the proper run capacitor specifications for my 20 year old Coleman air conditioner. That is "Great Value" worth paying for. Thomas Willard/ Floral City, Fl.”
